Experience Eid in Dubai — even as a non-Muslim visitor
If you happen to be in Dubai around March 19–22, lean into the Eid celebrations rather than avoiding the crowds. The city transforms — families are out in their finest clothes, restaurants serve special menus, and there's an infectious warmth in the air. Head to Global Village on Eid evening, find a spot to watch the fireworks, and pick up street food from the pavilions. It's one of those experiences that reminds you why Dubai is unlike anywhere else. Just book your accommodation and any ticketed events well in advance — the city fills up fast.
Visa reminder for this month's travelers
Planning to visit during or just after Eid? Apply early.
Eid Al Fitr falls on 19–22 March 2026. UAE immigration processing times can slow around major holidays as government offices operate reduced hours. If you're a Kenyan traveler or from any country requiring a pre-arranged visa, aim to submit your application at least 2 weeks before your travel date this month to avoid delays. The $4,000 proof of funds requirement for Kenyans aged 18–40 remains in effect.
