The Atlantis Palm resort was opened in 2008 and has Arabian-inspired architecture. It won the prestigious 4-Star Forbes Travel Award in 2024.  This 1544-room resort is family-friendly, providing what we would call classic luxury.

A night at the resort would start at about AED 1,500 ($500).

It is located at the crescent of Palm Island and has views of the entire City of Dubai and the Arabian Sea.

The Royal Resort is ranked 9th in the World’s 50 Best Hotels of 2024. It has 795 rooms housed in 43 storeys. The resort has a modern aesthetic, the complete opposite of the Palm resort aesthetic.

It was designed to match Dubai’s architectural landscape. It has a 90-meter sky pool, the world’s largest jellyfish tank that houses over 4,000 ephemeral jellyfish, and a 3,000-square-meter wellness center.
