All You Need to Know About the Miracle Garden in Dubai

The Miracle Garden in Dubai was launched in 2013 on Valentine’s Day.  The 72,000-square-foot garden features over 150 million blooming flowers and has received over 15 million visitors since its launch.

It won the Guinness World Records for the Largest vertical garden, the largest floral structure, and the tallest topiary structure.

The last two records are for the Emirates A380 plane, made from over 500,000 flowers, and the 18-metre-tall Mickey Mouse, respectively.  The Micky Mouse sculpture is made from 100,000 flowers and plants.

Aside from the two iconic floral sculptures named above, other attractions in the Miracle Garden look surreal and will undoubtedly take your breath away. They include; 

  • The Smurfs Village – This attraction will excite you if you love a gnome-sized village similar to the Hobbit village.
  • The Floral Clock – this 15-metre wide clock is made out of beautiful, colorful flowers that are changed from time to time.
  • The Floral Castle – the castle looks like a Disney castle from a fairytale story. The castle makes an excellent background for beautiful photos.
  • The Floral Villas – the little florally draped villas are dotted with lilac, lavender, orange, and Lilly flowers.
  • The Heart Tunnel – flowers are guided to create hearts using metal frames. 
  • The Umbrella Tunnel – as the name suggests, the tunnel is made up of umbrellas and flowers.
  • The Lake Park – beautiful flowers surround this artificial lake and are a site to behold.
  • The Hill Top – think about rolling hills with colorful, vibrant flowers 
  • The Sunflower Field – this section features thousands of sunflowers that look like a sea of yellow happy faces
  • The Floating Lady – this artistic floating sculpture is draped in flowers, making it look exquisite.
  • The Teddy Bear – this is by far the most beautiful attraction. How they managed to make a floral teddy bear look cuddly is mindboggling

The floral sculptures and designs are changed annually, but some of the most popular attractions have been featured for years. There is also a kid-friendly play area and a trampoline park. The Garden occasionally hosts live events in its cultural amphitheater.

There are cabanas within the miracle garden with drapes to keep you cool in the hot Dubai sun. The Garden also has sitting areas draped in colorful flowers to allow you to take a break while strolling through the ginormous flower garden. 

Additionally, there are more than 30 food and drink vendors, candy stores, restaurants, and coffee shops within the garden that serve a wide variety of food and drink. The Miracle Garden also has free parking, VIP parking, prayer rooms, toilet blocks, a first aid room, wheelchairs for disabled visitors, and shops for guests to buy souvenirs.

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM

How to Get to the Miracle Garden

The most convenient way to get to the Miracle Garden is by taxi, which will take you directly to the Garden.

Alternatively, you can get to the Garden by Bus by taking the Dubai Metro to the Mall of Emirates Metro Station, going to the red line, and then taking the RTA Bus No. 105, which takes you to the Garden directly. It is a 25–30-minute ride that costs 5 Dirhams. You will be dropped off roughly 250 meters from the garden, a 2-minute walk.

Miracle Garden Ticket Prices

Tickets to the garden can be bought at the entrance. However, you can buy tickets online to avoid queuing at the gate.

Individual adult tickets for the garden are AED 100 and AED 85 for children aged between three and 12. Children under three can enter for free. 

The entry fee for people with disability is AED 40. Residents can present their Emirates ID for a special discounted ticket priced at AED60 for adults and children aged three and up.

Dubai Butterfly Garden

The Butterfly Garden is an ancillary section of the Miracle Garden that features over 15,000 butterflies from over 50 species. It comprises 10 custom-built domes that cover 6300 square meters right next to the Miracle Garden. Not mentioning this Garden as an essential part of your visit to the Miracle Garden would be a sin.

The garden is only open from Saturday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM. The entry fee is 60 Dirhams.

The Miracle Garden is a must-visit when you visit Dubai. The colorful garden will make you feel like you have visited an ethereal land that looks too good. You may have to spend the whole day if you intend to take in all the sculptures and landscapes.
