Dubai is one of the most popular travel destinations among Kenyans. Unfortunately, Kenyans need a pre-approved visa before visiting the emirate. Find out how you can get a UAE visa.

Single Entry valid for 30 days – This visa costs about Ksh 16,000

Single Entry valid for 60 days – This one costs roughly Ksh 33,000

How long does it take to get a Dubai visa in Kenya?

A while back, getting a Dubai visa was quite quick and easy. However, they introduced a couple of strict measures that have forced travel agents and travelers to be a bit more cautious when applying for a visa.

As of 2025, it will take about 2 to 5 business days to get the visa. This is to play it safe.

There are instances of getting it within 36 hours or less.

But to be safe, apply for the visa one week in advance.

If you would want to work in Dubai and do not have a job, you can apply for the job seeker visit visa. This visa allows you to enter UAE to look for a job without a sponsor and gives you a validity of either 60, 90 or 120 days.

However, if you applied and got a job in Dubai, your employer should process your work visa for you.
