Dubai, UAE – April 5, 2025 – Emirates has officially launched Emirates Courier Express, a fast and flexible global package delivery service built for businesses. Using Emirates’ large fleet of over 250 aircraft and an international network of reliable partners, the new service delivers packages straight to customers’ doors around the world.
Backed by nearly 40 years of global shipping and airline experience, Emirates Courier Express offers a modern and efficient alternative to traditional delivery systems. Unlike the common hub-and-spoke model, where packages make multiple stops before reaching their destination, Emirates Courier Express uses direct routes. This means faster delivery, fewer touchpoints, and more reliable service.
A Faster Way to Ship
Unlike many traditional delivery services where packages might travel through several sorting centers (a hub-and-spoke model), Emirates Courier Express aims to fly packages more directly from their starting point to their destination. Emirates believes this approach will significantly cut down on delivery time and reduce how often packages need to be handled, getting goods to customers quicker.
The airline worked closely with businesses over the past year to test and improve the service before this official launch. During this trial period across seven countries (including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the UK), average delivery times were under 48 hours.

“Emirates Courier Express is a game-changer in how goods are moved across borders. It’s built on our strong infrastructure and sets a new benchmark for speed and reliability,” said Badr Abbas, Divisional Senior Vice President at Emirates SkyCargo.
Customers can choose from various delivery options, including next-day express or two-day premium service. Emirates Courier Express also provides custom shipping solutions for specific industries like fashion, electronics, and healthcare. The service is supported by Emirates’ advanced logistics systems, including cold storage for sensitive medical items.
“This launch is about challenging how global shipping is done and making it better,” added Dennis Lister, Senior Vice President of Product and Innovation at Emirates SkyCargo. “We’ve built a service that gives businesses faster, more efficient, and cost-effective shipping solutions.”
