On November 15, 2024, AirAsia X made its debut flight from Kuala Lumpur to Nairobi. Along with this exciting new route, the airline introduced a dedicated office in Nairobi to support its operations and enhance customer experience.

As a low-cost airline, AirAsia X offers competitive fares.
For its Nairobi-Kuala Lumpur route, promotional one-way fares start at just Ksh 24,000, an offer available for advance bookings until the end of June 2025.
The regular one-way fare is Ksh 45,000, with round-trip tickets costing approximately Ksh 90,000.
This new route not only enhances connectivity but is also expected to boost Kenyaβs efforts to attract more international tourists.
