The Global Village is a theme park based in Dubai that showcases the cultures of different countries across the globe.

So, the Global Village recently announced the dates for the new season, season 29, after having a very successful season 28 which I fortunately got a chance to attend.

But before I briefly share some of the highlights, here are some interesting things about Global Village:
- It has been in operation for more than 25 years.
- It is the most popular family destination in the United Arab Emirates.
- It operates in seasons to allow for renovations, adding of new activities and to create hype.
- It brings together different cultures and showcases their foods, products (clothes, shoes, souvenirs etc), and way of life.
Some Highlights of Season 28 of the Global Village
- Season 28 saw more than 10 million people visit the park setting a new record.
- There were 200+ rides and entertainment attractions.
- There were over 90 cultures showcased across 27 pavilions.
- Over 40,000 performances.
- Over 90 cultures were showcased.
When Will Season 29 Open?
Global Village will open its doors from the 16th of October 2024 to 11th of May 2025. The new season will see the introduction of new programs, attractions, shows and delicious foods.
