Why is she in Kenya?
Nicole is touring Kenya as part of a delegation led by Kenyan born American musician, Lovince Mckenzie, who persuaded Nicole to come visit the beautiful motherland, in a documentary project led by Mckenzie. The short film is to break the stereotypes the western media have of Kenya and Africa as a whole.
During a short media briefing, Nicole and Mckenzie praised the Kenyan people for the hospitable welcome and were impressed by the beauty the country has to offer.
She said, “I am so thrilled to be here. You guys are such wonderful people, and have such a lovely energy, and I cannot wait to explore the rest of your beautiful country, can’t wait to hit the beach…”
The media briefing was organized by the Kenya Tourism Board, and chaired by its Chief Executive Officer, June Chepkemei.
Also in attendance was the Tourism Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano together with her Principal Secretary for Tourism, John Lekakeny Ololtuaa. Ms Miano was elated to have a high profile figure visit the nation and have positive remarks.
In a private conversation held, CS Miano said, “My work here is done”, expressing her excitement of how Kenya treated Nicole and her delegation.
