Before embarking on your journey to becoming a cabin crew member for any airline, you need to confirm if you meet all the requirements.

Most airlines typically have similar requirements that qualify an individual to become a candidate.

In this article, we will look at the requirements you need to meet to become a Qatar Airways cabin crew.

Qatar Airways Cabin Crew Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 21.
  • Minimum arm reach of 212 cm – This ensures you can reach some of the safety equipment on the plane, as well as assist passengers with their luggage.
  • High School Certificate – You must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) – You do not need to be perfect, but at least able to communicate correctly in English.
  • Excellent health and fitness.
  • Ability to relocate to Doha, Qatar – You will be based in Doha, where you will be provided free accommodation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills – These will be tested once your application is approved and you are invited to the recruitment day. However, some destinations offer walk-in recruitment days, meaning you do not need to apply online first; you can simply meet the recruitment agents at a location and time specified by the airline.
  • Passion for service and an ability to work as part of a multicultural team – Qatar Airways employs individuals from all over the world. You need to demonstrate you can work well with different kinds of people.
