In this article, we look at the emergency contacts that the UAE government has established to improve the life and safety of its residents as well as tourists.

Introduction

UAE is one of the safest countries in the world. It is also a popular destination among digital nomads and expatriates because of the quality of life the country has to offer.

And as much as they are still working to improve the infrastructure, (especially in the financial and banking industry) UAE has developed systems that work.

They have a well established transport system with the metro connecting major tourist destinations such as the Dubai Mall, Mall of Emirates, Museum of The Future, Gold Souk and more. However, the metro does not provide accessibility to areas that are far from major city centres.

They also have ride hailing apps such as Uber and Ride which supplement the public transport system.
