Food Options on Air Arabia
So what’s on offer during your flight to Dubai? They offer a great selection of snacks and sandwiches that can be pre-ordered during your booking of the flight. Give the sandwiches a try; they earn a commendable 6/10 rating from me. For a personalized culinary adventure, consider bringing your favorite snacks or food onboard.
Landing at Sharjah International Airport
Touch down at Sharjah International Airport, Air Arabia’s chosen hub. While it might not boast the glitz and glam of DXB Airport (far from it), it makes up for its impeccable cleanliness and welcoming staff, always ready to assist, especially during the COVID season which is when we traveled.
As said before, it does not come close to DXB but it’s a pretty decent airport.
Getting to Dubai From Sharjah Airport
Getting from Sharjah to Dubai is not that difficult. It might take you about 30 minutes from the airport to downtown Dubai without traffic.
Opt for a convenient airport taxi, although be prepared to part with between AED 60 and AED 120. Budget-conscious travelers can hop on the bus, but keep in mind, that it may involve multiple transfers and isn’t the most hassle-free option, especially with bulky luggage.

Final Thoughts: Honest Review on Air Arabia
In conclusion, Air Arabia is a great and affordable airline to use when going for your vacation to Dubai. The take-off and landing were better than expected, actually, it was perfect. The legroom was quite decent, and it did not feel as if I was using a ‘budget’ airline.
The two downsides are: Not landing at DXB and the commute from the airport to the hotel.
